Cricket Club Zwolle (“the club”, “we”) handles personal data with care. This privacy statement explains which data we collect through cricketclubzwolle.nl and through membership, why we do so and what your rights are.

What data we collect
We only process data that you give us yourself through the forms on the website or as a member:
- Membership form: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, membership type, previous club (if any) and your comments about your experience.
- Training session request: name, email address, your cricket experience and when you would like to come.
- Clinic request: name, organisation, email address, number of participants and preferred date.
- Contact form: name, email address and your message.
Why we use your data
- To arrange your membership, collect fees and register you with the KNCB (performance of the agreement).
- To place you in a team and keep you informed about training sessions and matches.
- To handle your request for a training session or clinic and get in touch with you.
- To answer your question sent through the contact form.
We do not use your data for any other purpose and never sell it to third parties.
Junior members
For members under 16 we ask for consent from a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian can fill in the membership form on the child’s behalf.
Who we share data with
- KNCB: to register members and player passes, and for transfers to or from another club.
- Our website host: form submissions are stored on the server of our website.
We make agreements on security and confidentiality with parties that process data on our behalf.
How long we keep data
- Member data: for as long as you are a member and up to 2 years after your membership ends (longer where tax rules require it).
- Training session requests, clinic requests and contact messages: up to 1 year after they have been handled.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics services. We only set one functional cookie that remembers your language (Dutch or English). Fonts are loaded from our own server, so no data is sent to Google Fonts.
Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as the KNCB Match Centre and our social media. The privacy statement of those parties applies to their sites.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data. The website uses a secure connection (https) and only board members who need the data have access to it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its use. To do so, email jafarih.19@gmail.com. We will respond within four weeks.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We may update this privacy statement. The latest version is always available on this page.
